DENVER, Colorado ” If you want to find the Colorado delegation to the Democratic National Convention on television tonight, look for the group dressed like a bunch of University of Colorado students.

Delegate Julia Hicks, of Westminster, created t-shirts for all 70 of the delegates to go in as a unified group for the roll-call presidential vote. They are black-and-gold, Buffalo style.

On the front, it reads “Obama Signed, Sealed, Delivered. America, I’m Yours.” On the back: “Colorado Democratic Warriors.”

Hicks, a veteran of many DNCs, has been making delegation clothing for years. While some people like to wear suits and ties to look nice, she said, the only way to get on TV is to do something to make yourself stand out.
