Dog still missing after falling in Vail creek
Vail, CO Colorado
VAIL, Colorado – Jeff Huddy is still looking for his dog Hazel.
Huddy ‘s roommate and Hazel fell into Gore Creek near the Marriott StreamSide in Vail this weekend. The dog ended up floating downstream and wasn’t found. A Marriott employee pulled Huddy’s roommate out.
Hazel is a three-year-old light brown Arizona red-nosed pit bull with a spiked collar, Huddy said.
“I’ve been looking every day,” Huddy said. “I’ve called animal control and the animal shelter and she’s still missing.”
The accident happened Saturday morning around 9:30 a.m. Anyone that has seen Hazel or has any information about where the dog might be, should contact Huddy at 331-5052.
There Marco Odermatt was, in the Birds of Prey finish corral following his gutsy super-G run, wondering just how fast he was. As the second skier on course, and the first to finish, the confusion was understandable.
