Donations now being accepted for designer tag sale
VAIL – With the onset of the spring cleaning season just around the corner and summer sales on the horizon, what do you do with all those “gently used” designer items that are currently occupying a tenuous place in your life?Why not donate them to the Vail International Dance Festival’s Repeat Performance Designer Tag Sale. Slated for June 15-16 at the Ford Amphitheater, the third edition of the sale will once again feature new or slightly used clothing, furs, jewelry, furniture, home accessories and even automobiles.All proceeds from Repeat Performance will benefit the Vail International Dance Festival’s community outreach programs, including the Dance Dialogue series of free discussions, the free Village Vignette performances and the complimentary family matinee performance.Any unsold items will be donated to other nonprofit organizations throughout the Vail Valley. Vail Valley foundation is looking for slightly used clothing, furniture, electronics and home accessories. The Repeat Performance sale was moved to June 15-16 from its September timeframe of a year ago in order to serve as a kickoff to the 2007 Vail International Dance Festival, which is scheduled from July 29 through August 12 at both the Ford Amphitheater and the Vilar Center for the Arts in Beaver Creek.To donate items to Repeat Performance, contact the Vail Valley Foundation at 949-1999.
