Don’t stall on the tracks; Train is coming to the Vilar
The Grammy-winning multi-platinum pop group Train will blay a benefit concert on Friday at 9:30 p.m. at the Vilar Center in Beaver Creek. Train, whose chart-topping hits, including “Drops Of Jupiter” and “Calling All Angels,” have earned them the loyalty of fans around the globe while enduring as radio play-list staples across the country.Train’s performance will benefit VH1’s Save the Music Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of education in America’s public schools by restoring music programs in cities and raising public awareness about the importance of music participation for our nation’s youth.
VH1’s Save the Music purchases new musical instruments for students or sponsors programs that are at risk of elimination due to lack of funding and budget cuts. The Foundation also conducts awareness campaigns, musical instrument drives and fundraising events.Tickets are $10 and go on sale today at 11 a.m. only online at http://www.vilarcenter.org. Space is extremely limited and tickets will only be available through the Web site, no phone orders will be taken.
