Dotsero master plan survey now available from Eagle County

EAGLE COUNTY, Colorado – All Eagle County residents can participate in a Web-based community survey being conducted to collect opinions regarding Dotsero. The county is now developing a master plan for the area and is seeking public input. The survey can be seen on the county’s Web site – http://www.eaglecounty.us – until July 21.

The survey consists of 10 questions, including: “What’s good about the area?” “What should be changed?” and “What types of development should or should not occur in the area in the future?” Responses will be used to develop the Dotsero Area Community Plan.

As a chapter of the Eagle County Comprehensive Plan, the Dotsero Area Community Plan will provide information and policies to help guide land use and site design in the greater Dotsero area. In addition to the survey, a series of community meetings are under way to review alternatives and to further refine goals and policies to be included in the plan. A working draft of the document is expected to be complete by the end of the year.
