Drugs stolen from Aspen pharmacy

ASPEN, Colorado ” An estimated $20,000 to $30,000 of medication, narcotics and other items were reported stolen from Tom’s Pharmacy, authorities said Tuesday.
Aspen police responded to a report of a break-in at 4:36 a.m. Monday at the pharmacy, which is located at 100 E. Main St.
An unidentified person later found a plastic bag “filled with various medications” and returned it to the pharmacy Monday afternoon, authorities said. The bag was found near the Yellow Brick building.
It was not clear if the bag was marked.
Anyone who finds “any suspicious bags, white medication pill bottles, individual pills, or syringes lying around” is asked to call the Aspen Police Department at (970) 920-5400.
