EAGLE, Colorado ” The Eagle Town Board says it will hold meetings every Wednesday on the Eagle River Station project in hopes of making a decision before Thanksgiving.
“I see perhaps a six-week process to ultimate resolution,” said Mayor Ed Woodland during the Oct. 8 hearing. “I can’t imagine this thing stretching into 2009.”
Eagle River Station is a retail/residential project proposed on an 88-acre site on the east end of town, south of Interstate 70. About 552,000 square feet of commercial space and 581 housing units are planned.
The town will resume discussion of the plan Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Eagle Town Hall.
