Eagle County cocaine probe nets 2 arrests, cops say

EDWARDS, Colorado ” Two illegal immigrants were arrested in Edwards Monday during an ongoing investigation in which 2 ounces of cocaine have been seized, the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office says.

Milton Medina, 21 and Winston Evans-Morales, 31, were arrested without incident at a home in Edwards, the Sheriff’s Office says.

They were each arrested on a warrant for two counts of cocaine distribution, a class three felony, and two counts of cocaine possession, a class four felony, the Sheriff’s Office says.

Both men had cocaine during the arrest and were charged with another felony count of cocaine possession, the Sheriff’s Office says.

Both men are being held in the Eagle County jail on $15,000 bonds.

The U.S. Immigration Custom Enforcement has determined both men to be illegal aliens and has asked the men be held in jail, the Sheriff’s Office says.
