Eagle County commissioner easing back to work
EAGLE – She still tires quickly, but Eagle County Commissioner has been spending more time at the office the last couple of weeks.
Fisher put in a brief appearance at the commissioners’ meetings a couple of weeks ago, and some office time last week. Monday, she attended the commissioners’ weekly work session.
Fisher was rushed to a Denver hospital Dec. 13 after suffering a brain aneurysm, a bulging blood vessel in her brain. The aneurysm and subsequent surgery put her in the hospital for nearly two weeks.
She said Monday she feels “pretty good,” but is sensitive to bright light. She’s not done with doctors’ appointments yet, either. Still, she said, she’s eager to get back to work as quickly as possible.
