Eagle County commissioners to consider new district boundaries
Vail, CO Colorado
EAGLE COUNTY, Colorado – The Eagle County Board of Commissioners will consider adoption of proposed commissioner districts during its regular meeting on Tuesday. The meeting begins at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Eagle County Room, located at 500 Broadway in Eagle, and will be aired live on ecotv18 as well as streamed live and archived at http://www.ecotv18.com.
Colorado law requires the county to evaluate commissioner districts every 10 years following the completion of the U.S. Census. Districts must be as nearly equal in population as possible, based on Census counts. As proposed, the plan includes minor adjustments to the existing boundaries and a hearing held in May garnered no public input.
