Eagle County School District Web site wins award
EAGLE – Eagle County school district has been awarded the “New Media and Web Design” award within the category of “Website, Public Service/Non-profit” at the 39th annual Creativity Annual Awards. There were entries from 37 states and 37 countries participated and a panel of 20 judges.
The Creativity Annual Awards Web site states that each media type was judged on a one to 10 scale, with 10 being the highest. The entries were not compared to each other and were evaluated on individual creative achievement: theme/idea, execution, follow-through, and ease of use (Web sites).
Eagle County school district’s new Web site includes interactive components such as job postings, news and newsletters, sitemap generator, staff and faculty directory, school and department homepages, calendar, e-notification and a form/survey tool.
Vision Internet, a full-service vendor offering Web site consulting, design, development and maintenance services, assisted the district in creating this Web site.
