Vail, CO Colorado

VAIL, Colorado – Eagle County has launched a new online feature that allows residents to comment directly on upcoming Board of Commissioner meeting agenda items. The “eComment” feature is being tested through a six-month free trial.

Residents are invited and encouraged to try out the eComment application by visiting http://www.eaglecounty.us/Commissioners/Meeting_Agendas and choosing “Comment on this agenda.” All comments received will be routed to the appropriate elected officials and staff members. Those received prior to 24 hours before a meeting start will be compiled for inclusion in the public record.

The feature is intended to provide a method for collecting citizen input from those unable to attend a meeting and also provide a way for citizens to reach the appropriate elected officials and staff members.

If the county decides to continue hosting the application following the test period, the cost would be $180 per month. For more information, call Eagle County Administrative Manager Sharee Wettstein at 970-328-8605.
