Vail, CO Colorado
EAGLE COUNTY, Colorado ” Got a problem with how long you wait at that stoplight? Are you tired of car speeding down your street?
If it is in Edwards, Eagle-Vail and other parts of unincorporated Eagle County, county engineers want to know about it. The county is looking for residents’ input as it evaluates the usefulness of speed limits, signs and other traffic control devices. The county is evaluating traffic control devices to see if any are unsafe or unnecessary.
“We have received valuable input from the community and hope to continue to identify issues that will improve the safety and operation of the transportation system in Eagle County,” said county engineer Eva Wilson.
Results of the study so far have started plans for a speed study on Squaw Creek Road and the evaluation of several stop signs in Homestead and Singletree.
