EAGLE, Colorado The Dusty Boot Steakhouse & Saloon in Eagle Ranch will donate 50 percent of its sales on April 5 to The Heuga Center for Multiple Sclerosis. The Dusty Boot will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.A very close friend of mine was diagnosed with MS, said John Shipp, Dusty Boot owner and Heuga Center board member. Shes a wife and mother so Ive witnessed how this disease affects the entire family. With support from our Eagle Valley customers and community, we bring health and hope to people and families living with MS through The Heuga Centers five-day CAN DO program. Dine Out for MS has raised more than $52,000 since starting in 2005, said The Heuga Centers CEO Kim Sharkey. That money directly impacts our ability to provide scholarships for people with MS and their support partner to attend our CAN DO program. Five local couples attend CAN DO programs in 2008, she said. The Edwards-based Heuga Centers programs are designed to keep people with MS active. The Centers next five-day CAN DO program takes place in Vail from May 13 to 17.
