Brit Floyd pays tribute to the legendary rock band from London and is touring with its show entitled, “P U L S E” which is the tribute band’s biggest production to date. “P U L S E” recreates the Division Bell Tour, which, in 1994, was the highest-grossing tour in rock history.

It’s a two-and-a-half-hour show featuring so many classic Pink Floyd tunes. This is a must for Pink Floyd fans. Reserved seating starts at $75 and you can purchase tickets by calling the Vilar Performing Arts Center’s Box Office at 970-845-TIXS (8497) or go to the website, VilarPAC.org.

After an amazing start to the six-week music festival with Sinfonica Mineria last weekend, Bravo! Vail welcomes the Dallas Symphony Orchestra back for another season. Conductor Fabio Luisi and the group just returned from Europe, performing in many new concert halls in a short amount of time.

“The tour was very exciting for all of us,” Luisi said. “Many of the works that we played on tour there we will be performing here in Vail.”

On Friday, Luisi will conduct the American Broadway Songbook, which will be the first pops show he has led at Bravo! Vail Music Festival.

“The works of Broadway fit into the American musical history, and because they are so well-known, these songs do connect differently with audiences. They also show how nimble an orchestra can be and, quite simply, it’s a lot of fun,” Luisi said.

On Saturday, you’ll hear Tchaikovsky’s “Fifth Symphony” and the Colorado premiere of Anna Clyne’s new work “ATLAS” for piano and orchestra with pianist Jeremy Denk. On Sunday, listen for Brahm’s violin concerto and Strauss’ “Don Juan” and “Der Rosenkavalier.”

Tickets are available at BravoVail.org and showtimes are at 6 p.m. at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater.

Take your yoga practice to a different level – literally – with yoga up at elevation or in a new and different setting. The Vail Valley offers many different kinds of yoga classes that take you out of the traditional yoga studio.

Mountain Top Yoga at Mid-Vail

Head to Mid-Vail at 10,250 feet above sea level for Mountain Top Yoga at 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Saturdays from now until Aug. 31. Classes will be held on the lower level of the Mid-Vail Deck where you’ll find stunning views of the Gore Range. If you already have your Epic Pass for the 2024-2025 ski season, the class is $10. If you need a lift up to the yoga class, you can purchase a scenic gondola ride ticket and the yoga class for $69. Tickets must be purchased on-site at the Vail Village Ticket Office, prior to loading the gondola. Bring a water bottle and dress in layers as the temperature can be cooler at that altitude. Yoga mats are provided if you need one. After class there will be prizes and giveaways from Celsius and Nature Valley. For more information, go to Vail.com.

Yoga in Beaver Creek

Beaver Creek also offers outdoor yoga. Head to the plaza on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9-10 a.m. The ice rink is transformed to a big yard area and free yoga classes are held there. This practice is open to all ability levels. Bring water and dress in layers; you may start out cool, but then heat up once the sun hits the plaza. Yoga mats are provided while they last. For more information, go to BeaverCreek.com.

Avon Yoga in the Park

The Avon Recreation Center is hosting Yoga for Stiff People on the West Lawn this Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. as part of its Yoga in the Park Series. The class is free but go to Avon.org to sign the waiver.

Goga – Goat Yoga

Goat Yoga, or, “Goga” as it is affectionately called at Vail Stables, hosts yoga classes with adorable goats. The class on Saturday is at 8:30 a.m. and you need to hop on the shuttle at the Vail Village Transportation Center to get up to Vail Stables. A 12-passenger van will do pick-ups at 8 and 8:15 a.m. The duration is one hour with 45 minutes of yoga and 15 minutes of time to check out some of the goat tricks and to take selfies. Bring a water bottle, but mats will be provided. You must make reservations in advance and the cost is $40 per person. Learn more at VailStables.com.

Eagle Yoga in the Park

In the next few weeks, Yoga in the Park returns on select Sundays at Eagle Town Park and Eagle River Park. Go to YogaOffBroadway.com and TheVitalityCollective.com for the schedule of classes.
