EAGLE — Maybe Mom wants something besides flowers or perfume for her special day — maybe a Glock 19 Gen4 (9 mm Luger) or perhaps a S&W M&P Bodyguard .38 Special.
This weekend, just in time for Mother’s Day or for anyone who is interested in firearms, the Eagle Gun Show is planned at the Eagle River Center at the Eagle County Fairgrounds. The event is sponsored by the Eagle Valley Rod and Gun Club and will comply with all federal, state and local firearm ordinances and laws.
“The show is just an opportunity for people to purchase a table and sell guns and ammunition or for people to find what they are looking for,” said Dick Mayne, of the Eagle Valley Rod and Gun Club. “People sell guns, knives, ammunition, coins and just about anything a person would like to sell.”
The vendor list for the event also will include handcrafted jewelry, old time cowboy photos, candles and more. Tables cost $50 in advance or $55 on the day of the show.
