Eagle hosts Potatopalooza festival Sept. 12

EAGLE, Colorado –The town of Eagle and Everyday Outfitters will host the 3rd annual Potatopalooza festival on Sept. 12 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Eagle’s history is rooted in potato farming, which is how the event got started and this year’s event has an all day music lineup with fun events for the entire family.
The event takes place in downtown Eagle on Broadway and features the following lineup:
• 10 a.m.: Couch potato race, potato car derby and a potato bake off
• Noon: Food vendors and beer garden open
• Potato vodka drinks and potato inspired activities all day
• Noon: Jason Vigil
• 2 p.m.: Rob Drabkin
• 4 p.m.: Hillbilly Hellcats
• 7 p.m.: The Samples
“We’re so proud of the lineup this year,” says Erin Seabury, of Everyday Outfitters. “We had 2,000 people come to the event the first year and over 4,000 last year. This year we plan to blow the lid off of Eagle with the Samples.”
The street fair from noon to 6 p.m. is free of charge. The Samples concert will be held in Eagle Town Park and costs $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Tickets are available at all Alpine Bank locations and online at http://www.potatopalooza.com
Parking is available at the Eagle County Fairgrounds and the Eagle Valley Middle School.
