Eagle: Learn how to care for historic textiles

EAGLE – The Eagle Valley Library District’s local history department will hold “Costume and Textiles,” class from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Oct. 10. Lunch will be provided.

Linda Carlson, curator of the Avenir Museum of Design and Merchandising at Colorado State University, will teach participants how to identify and care for textiles. This session is designed for curators of small museums and collections caring for historic textiles. It is also applicable to anyone with an interest in caring for textiles.

If you have a particular piece that you need to identify or for which you have storage questions, bring it with you to add to our discussion.
