Eagle: Mule Deer Foundation raises $54,000

EAGLE, Colorado ” More than 400 people attended a fundraiser May 3 for the Mule Deer Foundation Buckhorn Chapter at the Eagle County Fairgrounds.

The group, which says it works toward “ensuring the conservation of mule deer and their habitat,” raised $54,000.

Members spent more than 1,100 hours this winter help Division of Wildlife officers feed deer that had trouble finding food under the area’s heavy snow.
