Eagle River Meadows hearing is Tuesday

EAGLE, Colorado – The Eagle County Board of Commissioners will continue its review of the sketch plan application for the Eagle River Meadows Planned Unit Development proposal Tuesday.The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Eagle County Room, located at 500 Broadway in Eagle. Topics will include potential development options and affordable housing options, as well as metropolitan district funding and traffic adjustments. All interested community members are encouraged to attend. The application and staff report as well as video from the May 25 and June 8 meetings on Eagle River Meadows are available for review online at http://www.eaglecounty.us.The proposed development is located on the former B&B gravel mine site, just west of the Eagle River Preserve in Edwards. The 105-acre proposal includes 380 free market and deed restricted housing units, as well as approximately 261,000 square feet of medical, wellness, office and commercial space. In addition, the proposal includes preservation of 68 acres of open space, new public trails and public fishing access.Tuesday’s meeting will be aired live on ecotv18, channel 18 on the Eagle Valley’s two cable systems, as well as streamed live at http://www.eaglecounty.us.
