Eagle River Preserve opening ceremony slated for Wednesday

EDWARDS, Colorado –Eagle County and the Vail Valley Foundation will hold a dedication ceremony at 3 p.m., Wednesday for the Eagle River Preserve.
The first phase of the three-phase project opened to the public a week and a half ago. The 30-acres opening Saturday have a walking trail, some wooden benches scattered along the river, a fenced area for dogs to run, access to the Eagle River for fisherman and a small pond.
