Vail, CO Colorado
EAGLE, Colorado ” The Colorado Department of Transportation and the town of Eagle are studying the Eby Creek corridor from U.S. Highway 6 to Market Street and want locals to weigh in with their traffic concerns.
“The purpose of the study is to analyze improvement options and make recommendations for both short and long-term improvements,” said Martha Miller, Colorado Department of Transportation project manager. “Short-term improvements
are proposed to be designed and under construction as soon as 2009.”
In brief discussion at a work session Tuesday, the Eagle County commissioners indicated some interest in helping to fund improvements on the road.
The open house is Aug. 14 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Eagle Town Hall, 200 Broadway.
“We want to know what you think ” what issues on the Eby Creek corridor would you like to see addressed?” said Miller. “Please plan to attend our open house and tell us about your concerns.
