Eagle sets rules for snow storage
Eagle, CO Colorado
EAGLE, Colorado ” Eagle, Colorado has also firmed up its rules about removing snow from private property.
The town already has a snow removal ordinance that requires property owners to shovel sidewalks within 24 hours of a storm. The new provisions deal with where that shoveled snow needs to go.
Powell noted that this year, town snowplow drivers have encountered several problems with residents pitching snow back into the streets. The ordinance now details that snow must be stacked in yards or on private property.
