Eagle student asks for smoother scooter rides
EAGLE, Colorado ” Eagle Valley Middle School eighth-grader Carson McQueeney appealed to the Eagle, Colorado Town Board to do some street maintenance along Mesa Drive.
McQueeney said there are lots of rocks in the roadway and that makes it difficult to ride a scooter in the area. He asked the town board to send a street sweeper through the area.
Mayor Ed Woodland told McQueeney that the town of Eagle doesn’t provide street services in Eby Creek Mesa, but offered to personally call Eagle County Road and Bridge to forward the request.
“Let’s follow-up with this young man, show him government does work,” said Woodland.
