Vail Daily staff report
Vail, CO Colorado

EAGLE-VAIL – Third graders at Stone Creek Charter School in Eagle-Vail showed growth on the 2010 CSAP Reading results. Eighty-nine percent of the students scored proficient or advanced on this year’s test, compared to 82 percent last year and 79 percent the year before.

“The results reflect our students’ ability to positively respond to the challenges of our school’s core knowledge program and the dedication of our third grade teachers in meeting every student’s learning needs,” Headmaster John Brendza said.

The results were recently released by the Colorado Department of Education. The remaining CSAP results will be released in August, prior to the start of the new school year.
