Eagle-Vail students gather New Orleans care packages
Eagle-Vail, CO Coloradoi
EAGLE-VAIL, Colorado ” The Battle Mountain High School Future Business Leaders of America are collecting care packages to carry from Eagle-Vail, Colorado to distribute to at-risk youth and homeless children and families in New Orleans.
On Nov. 21, Battle Mountain students will travel to their national Future Business Leaders of America conference in New Orleans. There, they’ll expand their knowledge of business ethics while competing with other school districts around the nation.
They’ll also help those in need along the hurricane-stricken Gulf Coast.
Partnering with an organization called “Stand Up For Kids,” the Battle Mountain students want to compile hundreds of care packages. You can help by donating hygiene products, first aid kit items, bottled water and non-perishable food. Financial donations are also welcome.
Care package contributions can be dropped off at Battle Mountain High. All sponsors will be acknowledged through local, state and national media contacts and your donations are tax deductible.
