Eagle-Vail, CO Colorado
EAGLE-VAIL ” Residents of Eagle-Vail, Colorado will have a chance to hear about a study done by land and development experts and talk about where the neighborhood is headed at a community meeting Wednesday night.
The final draft and published version of the Urban Land Institute’s findings will be presented to residents at 5:30 p.m. at the Eagle-Vail Pavilion. Residents will see a video of the panel’s presentation of its preliminary findings, then Eagle Vail Metro District and Property Owners Association officials will be on hand to answer questions.
In June, a panel of experts studied the neighborhood for a week and made long-term recommendations on transportation, recreation, a possible community center and the Battle Mountain High School site.
“The initial report was a solid, objective set of recommendations from a highly-experienced group of consultants, and the findings have not shifted since then,” said metro board general manager Kim Ahmad. “We have a variety of opportunities in front of us, and are looking forward to teaming up with the community in determining how best to move forward.”
After residents have had a chance to read the final report, another community open house will be held Nov. 20, also beginning at 5:30 p.m. For more information or to read the study, see the neighborhood’s new Web site at http://www.eaglevail.org.
The site combines news and information from both the property owners association and the metro district.
