Eagle-Vail yoga studio is hosting a 40-day program starting Tuesday
Vail, CO Colorado
Revolution Power Yoga hosts 40 Days to Personal Revolution, led by Mariah Schuette and assisted by Julie Kiddoo from Tuesday through Oct. 20.
This six-week comprehensive program is based on Baron Baptiste’s book “40 Days to Personal Revolution: A Breakthrough Program to Radically Change Your Body and Awaken the Sacred Within Your Soul.”
Each week of the 40 Days program is based on a theme, such as presence, and includes yoga, meditation, healthy eating and explorative journaling.
During this program, participants are asked to commit to meetings once a week, which are held every Tuesday from 7:15 to 8:30 p.m., directly following the 5:45 p.m. yoga class. The support received from the group is integral to the impact of the program. All other aspects of the program (yoga, meditation and diet) are done at the participant’s own pace. Included in the cost of the program, Revolution Power Yoga offers 22 classes per week. It also will provide podcasts online so participants can bring their yoga practice anywhere if unable to attend classes in the studio.
“This program has been life changing for me,” Schuette said. “My body has completely changed from doing yoga and eating healthier. I am not as emotionally reactive as I used to be. My mind is more quiet. I used to fear change, and now I embrace it.”
The 40 Days program will meet you exactly where you are in your life. It will help you gain clarity on your life. In the introduction to his book, Baptiste says, “You will see that transformation happens naturally. You will lose weight, if that is what needs to happen; you will become less reactive and more clam; your bad habits will start to release their grip on you. You will discover, as I did, that external changes happen when we adjust the inner working of our mind – when we adopt a philosophical foundation that gives our growth greater purpose and meaning.”
Participants can preregister online at http://www.revolutionpoweryoga.com or call 970-748-3176 or come into the studio to sign up.
