Eagle Valley Rotary Clubs seek applicants for exchange program

VAIL, Colorado – The Eagle Valley Rotary Clubs are seeking young professionals ages 25 to 40 to apply to visit Alsace, France, from March 26 to April 23. The trip is sponsored by Rotary District 5470 and the Group Study Exchange program of The Rotary International Foundation.
The program strives to improve international understanding by enabling people from different countries to learn from each other. The concept involves exchanging teams of business and professional persons for a month-long tour.
While in France, team members will visit their professional counterparts, observe their hosts’ way of life during home stays, and study the hosting country’s economic, social and cultural characteristics through travel and discussions.

The local deadline for completed applications is Sept. 25, and district interviews will be held Oct. 23-24 in Salida. Applicants must be between the ages of 25 and 40 at the time of departure, involved in a business or profession and cannot be a Rotarian, nor related to/ married to a Rotarian.
