A Frankenstein Valentine
The Porchlight Players are at it again and whoops, growls and whinnies can heard as the troupe prepares for it upcoming Valentine’s Dinner Theater production of “Young Frankenstein – The Musical.”
The fifth annual dinner theater production is not your ordinary love story; this is Mel Brooks’ musical adaptation of his hysterically funny movie about the grandson of the infamous Dr. Victor Frankenstein and his relationships with a fiancé, a shapely lab assistant, a somewhat odd sidekick, and of course, the monster he creates. Directed by Ann Olin, the cast includes an ensemble of actors both new and old to Porchlight Players.
Mark your calendars and prepare yourselves for an evening of good food and funny business at the Brush Creek Pavilion. The show runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 13-15 and Friday and Saturday, Feb. 20 and 21. Tickets are $50 and include dinner with a choice of three entrees, dessert, three drinks and the show.
