Ski/Ride with Elected Officials: 10 a.m. Gather at the base of Gondola One in Vail Village. Members of the Vail Town Council and Eagle County Commissioners invite skiers and riders to join them for some runs on Vail Mountain. An intermediate ability level is advised and participants are responsible for their own equipment, lift ticket and lunch.
SAturday, Feb. 7
Snowshoe for Peru: 10 a.m. Sylvan Lake State Park. A 5K snowshoe race to benefit Corazan de Esperanza, a facility that aids at -risk youth and women in Peru. All fitness levels are welcome. Registration available on line at http://www.corazondeesperanza.org.
