Name: Craig Wescoatt

Job: Wildlife Manager with Colorado Parks and Wildlife

Lives in: Eagle Ranch with my wife Linda, a dog Ozzy and a cat Hendrix

In high school I was … The kid that didn’t fit in with any of the cliques. I was the last kid cut from the football, basketball and baseball teams, smart but not smart enough to be considered one of the “Brains,” and worked with all the “Heads” (pot smokers) at the local Mr. Steak restaurant.

If I was a T-shirt it would be … A quick dry, any color with no print or any freebie.

Best thing about my town … Are the views, opportunities for outdoor recreation and the people. I think it is easy to forget how lucky we are to live here.

The best thing about my job is … Working with wild things, and sometimes with animals too.

As a kid I always … Had my head buried in some science fiction novel.

If I could be a superhero it would be … Glen Campbell for being brave enough to allow the progression of his Alzheimer’s to be documented to bring awareness to a disease that seems to touch every family sooner or later.

If I was given a million dollars, the first thing I would buy is … A photography safari through Africa for my wife and I; an opportunity that may not be available in the future.
