In high school I was … Involved in music and theater. I played trombone until my senior year when we got a new band director. On the first day of class he handed out 3”X5” cards and asked us to write down our name, phone number and what instrument we played. It was at that time that I switched to drums, and never looked back.

What are the best things about your town? I love the location in the mountains, the climate, the small town feel, the schools, the town leadership, the rec center, our friends and Costco.

The best thing about your job? As a counselor at CMC I am able to help students and community members make positive changes in their lives. It is a joy to help folks explore life possibilities, then set and reach their goals.

As a kid I always … I would have awesome football and baseball games with my five brothers and one sister (plus a few neighbors) in the empty lot next to our house.
