Senior Devin Ward and team mates are excited to begin their 2014-15 wrestling season.

Eagle Valley High School has the following sports competitions and events coming up this week. Come out and support the home team – the Eagle Valley Devils.

The high school is located at 641 Valley Road in Gypsum.

Thursday, Dec. 4

The boys junior varsity and varsity basketball teams head to Roaring Fork for the three-day Brenda Patch tournament.

The junior varsity girls basketball team also heads to Roaring Fork for the tournament.

The wrestling team hosts Grand Valley High School beginning at 5 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 5

The boys junior varsity and varsity basketball teams head to Roaring Fork for the three-day Brenda Patch tournament.

The girls varsity basketball team travels to Mitchell High School for a two-day tournament.

Saturday, Dec. 6

The boys junior varsity and varsity basketball teams head to Roaring Fork for the three-day Brenda Patch tournament. The junior varsity girls basketball team also heads to Roaring Fork for the tournament.

The girls varsity basketball team continues tournament play at Mitchell High School for the second day of a two-day tournament.

The wrestling team heads to Middle Park High School for all-day matches.

The Speech and Debate team travels to Summit High School for a meet.

The Devil Dancers travel to the Denver Coliseum for the State Spirit Competition.

Monday, Dec. 8

The girls and boys C-Team basketball teams travel to Battle Mountain High School with girls beginning at 5 p.m. and boys following for a 6:30 p.m. game.

Tuesday, Dec. 9

The alpine ski team heads to Beaver Creek for a meet hosted by Battle Mountain High School.

The wrestling team heads to Palisade High School for a triangular with Battle Mountain and Palisade, with matches beginning at 5 p.m.
