Eagle Valley High School has the following sports competitions and events coming up this week. Come out and support the home team – the Eagle Valley Devils.
The high school is located at 641 Valley Road in Gypsum.
Thursday, Dec. 11
The girls and boys varsity basketball teams play in Steamboat with both games beginning at 2:45 p.m.

Girls and boys basketball C-teams host Coal Ridge with girls starting at 4 p.m. and boys following at 5:30 p.m.
The Winter Music Concert is at 7 p.m. in the school’s auditorium.
Friday, Dec. 12
Fire Drill at 1:30 p.m.
Varsity boys play in Steamboat beginning at 4:30 p.m., with the varsity girls following at 7:45 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 13
The junior varsity wrestling team travels to Rifle High School for all-day matches, while the varsity team will be at Grand Junction High School.
The Nordic ski team travels to Granby for the Snow Mountain Ranch competition.
Varsity boys and girls basketball teams play in Steamboat at 12:30 p.m.
The boys and girls basketball C-teams host Glenwood Springs with the girls game starting at 11 a.m. and the boys following at 12:30 p.m.
Monday, Dec. 15
Junior varsity boys and girls basketball teams travel to Grand Junction High School with the girls starting at 5 p.m. and the boys following at 6:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Dec. 16
Day 1 of Finals schedule –
Zero hour — 8 to 9 a.m. (60 minutes)
1st hour — 9:10 to 10:40 a.m. (90 minutes)
2nd hour — 10:50 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. (90 minutes)
Office hours — 1:00 – 3:20 (Optional to students)
Wednesday, Dec. 17
Day 2 of Finals schedule
3rd hour — 8 to 9:30 a.m. (90 minutes)
4th hour — 9:40 to 11:10 a.m. (90 minutes)
5th hour — 11:20 a.m. – 12:50 p.m. (90 minutes)
