Eagle now accepting proposals for 2015 marketing events
The town of Eagle has launched its 2015 marketing review process and invites event planners to contribute to the community’s unique brand of fun.
“Each year, we seek proposals from organizations and promoters interested in hosting an event,” said Amy Cassidy, Eagle marketing and events coordinator. “Festivals and sporting events can come in an array of formats and sizes. We welcome your ideas.”
Seed money is allocated to those events that align with Eagle’s community objectives. To qualify for funding review, events must support these strategic priorities:
Elevate the profile of Eagle.
Increase sales and lodging tax revenues.
Support Local Journalism
Increase length of tourist visits.
Encourage visitor loyalty; increase return rates.
Increase brand awareness.
Increase website traffic.
Appeal to diverse target markets.
Provide community and high quality of life for guests and residents.
Proposals are available on the Eagle Outside website: http://eagleoutside.com/content/host-an-event.
Proposals are due to the MEAC office by Friday, Nov.14. Event producers should plan to be available for a short presentation and to answer questions from the Eagle MEAC committee about their proposals on Thursday, Dec. 4 at 8:30 a.m. at Eagle Town Hall.
