Eagle Outside Festival returns to town this weekend
EAGLE — With a weather forecast that promises perfect conditions, the Eagle Outside Festival and Rocky Mountain Bike and Outdoor Expo returns to town this weekend with activities plans for all ages.
Friday, June 3
5 p.m. to 8 p.m. – Registration and packet pickup at Addison Building, 1185 Capitol St.
4 p.m. to 11 p.m. – Bonfire Block Party – Broadway
5 p.m. – LOV Ride Yeti’s Grind, Broadway
6 p.m. to 9 p.m. – Demo load in for permanent vendors placing rigs in lots and Founders Ave.
4 p.m. to 7 p.m. – Sacred Cycle Barnbuster Fundraiser at 969 Sorrel Hills Dr., Eagle
Saturday, June 4
7 a.m. – Registration opens at Addison Building, 1185 Capitol St.
10 a.m. – Short Course Firebird XC Start at Boneyard Trailhead
12:30 p.m. – Short Course Firebird XC Awards at The Dusty Boot deck
1 p.m. – LoFi Super D state championships
5 p.m. – LoFi Super D state championships at The Dusty Boot deck
9 a.m.-5 p.m. – Consumer demo/expo
9 a.m.-12 p.m. – Allison Gannett Rippin’ Chix Morning Mother-Child Skills Camp
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. – PrAna Sample Sale at Addison Building, Capitol St.
10:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m. – VVASA Kids Ride, ages 7-12. Meet at grass spot on the corner of Capitol and Sylvan Lake Rd.
11 a.m. Pumptrack Grand Opening at Haymaker Trailhead/Parking Lot
11 a.m. – Strider Race No. 1 at corner of Capital and Founder’s Avenue
1 p.m. to 4 p.m. – Allison Gannett Women’s Skills C amp
2 p.m. – Strider Race No. 2 at corner of Capital and Founders Avenue
Sunday, June 5
6 a.m. – Registration opens, Addison Building, Capitol St.
6 a.m. to 9 a.m. – Packet pickup, Addison Building, Capitol St.
9 a.m. – Firebird Medium/Long Course XC State Championships start – Capitol St.
1:30 p.m. Firebird Medium/Long Course XC State Championship awards at Dusty Boot, Capitol St.
10 a.m. – Howard Head Sports Medicine 5K run/walk, start in Dusty Boot parking lot
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Consumer demo/expo
9:30 a.m. – Yoga in the Park – Town Park
9:30 a.m. – Fishing Derby – meet at the Eagle Ranch kids fishing pond. Free poles for the first 100 kids. Ages 12 and under only.
9 a.m. to 12 p.m. – Allison Gannett Rippin’ Chix Intermediate Women’s Singletrack Camp
11 a.m. – Strider Race No. 3, corner of Capital and Founders Avenue
1 p.m. – Strider Race No. 4, corner of Capital and Founder’s Avenue
2 p.m. – Chromoly Chef competition Capitol St.
