Eagle special event funding deadline slated for Nov. 20
EAGLE — The town of Eagle’s Marketing & Events Advisory Committee is accepting proposals for 2016 special event funding through Nov. 20.
The committee is soliciting qualified and enthusiastic event producers to bring events to town. The groups is looking for unique, creative and vibrant events that appeal to a variety of visitors, position the town favorably as an outdoor recreation and tourism destination and bring increased revenue to hotels, shops, restaurants and businesses, while providing community benefit and increased quality of life to our residents.
How to Apply
To apply for funding, go to http://www.eagle outside.com to download the 2016 request for proposals. Proposals are due by Nov. 20, and applicants will present their ideas to the committee at a Dec. 3 meeting. The committee has a budget of approximately $65,000 to allocate toward event funding in 2016.
