Eby Creek Road construction update

Construction on Eagle’s Eby Creek Road project began July 15, but local motorists can testify that it shifted to high gear this week.

Crews began median removal Wednesday and that work is slated to continue through Friday, July 26. Construction along the roadway’s northbound and southbound single lane has left just one lane open in each direction.

Night and early morning work is planned this week for installation of a new waterline. Loren Lane has been closed this week because of that work.

Wednesday and Thursday nights, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., Eby Creek Road will be in a one lane configuration as a waterline is installed across the road. The Loaf and Jug entrance off of Eby Creek Road will be closed entirely between 4 a.m. and 12 p.m. during some of that construction.

On Friday, July 26, Phase 1 will be completed, followed with a minor traffic shift of the existing travel lanes. Please be award of the new traffic configuration starting July 26 and drive carefully through the area.

Construction of the west half of the Eby Creek Road new roadway between I-70 and Chambers.

New underground utilities between Interstate 70 and Chambers

Construction of new off ramps at I-70.

Construction on the north side between I-70 and Market Street.
