Lots of cowboy-inspired fun for the whole family is planned for the annual Wild West Day celebration at 4Eagle Ranch this Sunday, Sept. 25. Wild West Wine Tasting

What: Enjoy tasty wine and great food from Kelly Liken to benefit local elementary schools.

When: Friday, Sept. 23

Time: 6 to 9 p.m.

Where: Harvest, at the Sonnenalp Golf Club in Edwards

Details: Tickets are $40 each or $75 per couple. Buy your tickets at Avon Liquors or your local elementary school.

Great Stampede 5K

What: The 5K run and 1 mile kids fun run/family trot will kick off the annual Wild West Day fund-raiser

When: Sunday, Sept. 24

Time: 9:30 a.m.

Where: 4 Eagle Ranch

Details: Registration and release form must be turned in by Friday, Sept. 23. Entry to full Wild West Day event is included in the Great Stampede registration fee. Cost is $10 for kids and $15 for adults. Go to http://www.wildwestday.org or VailRec.com for registration information.
