EVHS hosts eighth grade showcase

On Tuesday, Feb. 24, Eagle Valley High School will host an eighth grade showcase for students who will begin high school next fall.

The event is planned at the school auditorium beginning at 6 p.m.

“Come and learn more about how Eagle Valley High School is the embodiment of our mission and vision statement to ‘Expect More,” said Principal Greg Doan. “With a current enrollment of nearly 750 students, EVHS is large enough to offer academic rigor through college-level classes and athletic prowess through sports and activities that a larger high school offers, yet small enough to maintain a personal experience for each and every one of our students.”

The showcase will include presentations by administrators, counselors, teachers, and students.

“We will share some ideas about how to help your student be successful in high school, philosophies of EVHS, extra-curricular options, how to earn credits toward graduation, policies and procedures at the high school, tour the school, and answer any questions you may have,” said Doan. “Please join us in the auditorium at EVHS to begin the transition into high school.”
