Feed on some Rocky Mountain Oysters this Saturday

It’s time to have a ball at the annual Rocky Mountain Oyster Feed.

The event is planned is Saturday, March 15 in the Eagle River Center. Dinner will be served from 6 to 8 p.m., and if you haven’t tried a Rocky Mountain oyster, now is the time to go for it.

The dinner will be followed by a live and silent auction. Local band Airborn will play their “Last Waltz” farewell performance until 11 p.m. A cash bar will be open all evening.

Tickets available from 4-H members or at the door. Prices are $15 for adults, $6 for children ages 6-12, and $6 for seniors 65 and older. Children age 5 and under are free. Proceeds from the event go to 4-H scholarships and Eagle County Fair Awards.

“This is a great family-oriented event with all of the profits benefitting the local 4-H scholarship and award programs,” said Jenny Wood, 4H/Youth Development Agent.
