Skier Appreciation Day

Sunlight Ski Resort is hosting Skier Appreciation Day on Friday, Jan. 9 for all skiers and boarders.

Tickets are only $20 and all proceeds to United Way of Garfield County. On Sunday, Jan. 11, Sunlight is hosting Teacher/Student Appreciation Day. Wear your best beach gear costume and win prizes.

Community Center Ice Rink

The Glenwood Springs Community Center Ice Rink is an 85-foot x 200-foot NHL-size, outdoor, covered rink that maintains ice from November through mid March (weather permitting).

During the winter the ice rink hosts public skating, stick and puck, youth and adult Hockey, learn to skate and other ice related programs and activities. Winter Funday Passes

The Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park is offering Winter Funday Passes for $39 for adults and $34 for children.

Price includes tram ride and park admission, unlimited turns on the Alpine Coaster, Soaring Eagle Zip Ride, Laser Tag, 4D Motion Theater, and two different guided walking cave tours.

The Glenwood Caverns tram ride with two cave tours is $25 per adult and $20 per child.

View the caves and lights, access the fire pits and warming hut, enjoy lunch or dinner at the Lookout Grille, and do some shopping at the general store.

The Glenwood Caverns tram ride only is $13 for adults and $8 for children.

Remember to dress warm for the winter attractions because mountain conditions can be cold, especially after the sun goes down. A warm jacket, hat, boots, and gloves are recommended.
