Day Out Downtown

The Day Out Downtown will take place Thursday, March 20 beginning at 10 a.m. on Grand Avenue in Glenwood Springs.

Frontier Historical Museum

C heck out the Frontier Historical Museum, which is open from 1 to 4 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays through Saturdays.

Explore the history of Glenwood Springs in this historic house. Exhibits feature Doc Holliday and Kid Curry, Buffalo Bill Cody, the Utes, mining, skiing history, rocks and minerals, life in the late 1800s and much more. Admission is $4 for adults (13+), $3 for seniors (60+) and $2 for children (3-12).

Spa Spring Thing

It’s sunny and time to celebrate winter with a growing rail jam sponsored by Crystal River Spas.

Jump over a hot tub and show off your skills to win great prizes.

The event is planned Saturday, March 22 starting at 9 a.m. Sunlight Resort hosts the two-day Crystal River Spas Spring Thing. For more information, call 970-945-6511.

Jazz session

On Monday, March 24, the Hotel Colorado hosts Monday Nigh Jazz Jam Session at 7 p.m. This is an open jam session for musicians of all levels looking to improvise over jazz standards in public. Spectators are welcome and encouraged and admission is free.


WIN (Women Interacting and Networking) will meet at 7:15 p.m. at the Hotel Denver in the Loft meeting space. For more information, call 970-945-1514.

Open mic Nite

Open Mic Nite, hosted by Dan Rosenthal, will take place at the Rivers Restaurant on Wednesday, March 26 beginning at 8 p.m.

The restaurant will have a $1 taco special and admission is free. All talents are welcome.
