Zyto Health Scan

The Zyto Health Scan Event will be held on February 6 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Glenwood Springs Community Center at 175 Storm King Road. This is an open house style event and people are encouraged to bring friends and family for this free health scan. For more information, call 970-274-0853.



Glenwood Vaudeville Revue

The Glenwood Vaudeville Revue is offering new shows beginning Friday, Feb. 7.

The Glenwood Vaudeville Revue is a two-hour, family fun dinner theater show with professional talent performing a variety of comedy skits, jokes, high energy dance numbers, unique novelty songs and original comedic presentations. The show is guaranteed to entertain, and help audience members laugh their worries away while savoring a meal prepared by many of Glenwood Springs best restaurants.

Doors open Friday and Saturday at 6:30 p.m. with food, drinks and entertainment. The show begins directly afterward at around 7:30 p.m. The entire event lasts around three hours. Ski Spree

On Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 8 and 9, the ANB Bank Ski Spree is planned at Sunlight Ski Resort and around Glenwood Springs.

The action begins at 11 a.m. on Saturday with a USASA Sanctioned Rail Jam. The rest of the festivities happen in town with a chili cook-off at the Hotel Colorado beginning at 5 p.m. Try some chili, enjoy drinks and jam to the Missing Link Band with fireworks following in front of the hotel or on the pedestrian bridge. Hotel Colorado will also host prize giveaways and the announcement of the chili winner.

Chocolate Classic

A little further away, but a must-mention, is the 20th Annual Chocolate Classic on Wednesday, Feb. 12 from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at the Hotel Jerome Ballroom in Aspen.

This event is hosted by RESPONSE and net proceeds go to serving victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in the Roaring Fork Valley. This festival of chocolate, compliments of the area’s top restaurants and chefs, also boasts a scrumptious silent auction.
