Joan Esther Brown 1934 – 2014

Joan Esther Brown peacefully passed away on Dec. 23, 2014, at St. Mary’s Hospital at age 80.

She was preceded in death by her husband Garry, two sons; Garry Jr. and Arthur, and a grandson; Garry. Joan is survived by her three daughters; Lois, Judy, and Cindy. She has seven grandchildren; Shawn, Jeremy, Michelle, Jennifer, Adam, Tony, and Kayla; 13 great-grandchildren, Troy, Nikki, Dougie, Zac, Eddie, Scott, Alicia, Jessica, Justin, Jaden, Derrick, Devon, and Adam, Jr.; and three great-great-grandchildren, Trysten, Rilee, and Ruger.

Joan worked hard her whole life and finally retired at age 79. After retiring, she had been staying at home and enjoying the grandkids.

She was loved by many and will be missed greatly.

There are no services at this time, per Joan’s wishes. But in the summer of 2015, the family will have a celebration of her life with the date and place published in the Eagle Valley Enterprise, Vail Daily, and also on Facebook.
