Details: Presented by the town of Eagle and the Vail Valley Foundation, the first ShowDown Town concert for the 2014 season will feature music by The Country Music Project and free kids activities.
Summer Reading Movie Matinee
What: Free movie showing for kids entering kindergarten through 6th grade.

Inspirational Music Concert
What: G. Richard Deal, a concert pianist and recording artist, will perform a concert of sacred music.
When: Wednesday, July 30
Time: 7 p.m.
Where: Eagle Baptist Church
Details: Deal is a graduate of the American Conservatory of Music, the Moody Bible Institute and the Sherwood Conservatory of Music. He has competed in many international piano contests and he arranges his own sacred music selections. Admission is free and a freewill offering will be collected. Crawling to a Cure
What: A 4X4 Off-road vehicle rock course race.
When: Saturday, Aug. 2
Time: Gates open at 4 p.m.
Races start a 5 p.m.
Where: Eagle County Fairgrounds
Details: Tickets are $10. There will be six classes from stock vehicles to race buggies. Crawlin’ To A Cure is a non-profit that supports the Keepin’ em Real Scholarship Fund set up for children impacted by cancer and local families impacted by cancer. For more information visit crawlintoacure.org
Relay for Life
What: American Cancer Society fund-raiser
When: Friday, Aug. 2 through Saturday, Aug. 3
Time: 6 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Where: Eagle Valley High School Football field/track
Details: Teams will continuously walk the EVHS track to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Cancer survivors will take the first lap.
