Autumn Golf Classic

What: Hosted by the Eagle Chamber of Commerce, the Gypsum Chamber of Commerce and the Eagle Valley Homebuilders Association

When: Friday, Sept. 12

Time: 11 a.m. shotgun start

Where: Eagle Ranch Golf Club

Details: Entry fee is $125 for Individuals or $500 for four-person team. Fee includes 18-hole round, golf cart, skills challenge, aprés party and a silent auction. Registration form available at Proceeds benefit the chambers’ scholarship funds.

Speak Up and Reach Out Community Walk

What: 3rd Annual Community Walk to benefit SpeakUp ReachOut as a close to National Suicide Prevention Week

When: Saturday, Sept. 13

Time: 8:30 a.m.

Where: Brush Creek Park

Details: The morning will begin with a balloon launch, presented by HeartBeat, to honor those lost to suicide, a brief presentation and a guest speaker. The walk will wind through the town of Eagle and conclude at Brush Creek Park with refreshments, music and silent auction. Walkers are encouraged to raise $100 and teams are encouraged to raise $1,000. Individuals who meet or exceed the goal of $100 will receive an official walker T-shirt. For more information visit

Haymaker Jam

What: Cycling events hosted by the Cycle Effect

When: Friday, Sept. 12 and Saturday, Sept. 13

Where: Haymaker Trail and Eagle’s BMX tract

Details: The event will features BMX racing under the lights, strider races, youth races and a night-time adults race. Free music throughout the weekend. Proceeds will benefit the Cycle Effect.

Eagle Ranch Pumpkin Patch

What: Pick a pumpkin and enjoy family friendly fun

Time: 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Where: Brush Creek Community Park

Details: Activities will include the Haunted Barn, carving pumpkins, playing festive fall games, pony rides, sipping cider, and enjoying the beautiful morning on the grounds of a former working ranch. Children will also have an option to bounce off some energy in four fantastic bouncy castles while grown-ups peruse a silent auction benefiting the Sunshine Mountain Preschool. Food, games for the whole family. Admission is free, pumpkins cost $5.
