The Eagle Valley High School boys soccer team will conclude their 2013 season when by facing Battle Mountain High School today, Oct. 17. Junior varsity plays at 4 p.m. and varsity plays at 6 p.m. There will be a presentation honoring the team's seniors during half-time of the varsity game

Sew a Stocking

What: Opportunity to sew a stocking for a local teen in need in preparation for the holiday season.

Where: Gypsum Public Library

Details: Stockings will be decorated by teens, filled with items for teens in need and delivered to the Salvation Army in time for the holidays. Participants are asked to bring teen-friendly stocking stuffers for donation.

Winter Market and Holiday Fair

What: The popular downvalley Christmas fair returns

When: Friday, Nov. 22 from 4 to 8 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 23 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Where: Eagle River Center at the Eagle County Fairgrounds

Details: Pet pictures with Santa, holiday music and children’s activities round out a day of shopping for unique gifts for the entire family. Admission is free.
