Gypsum Creek Middle school Holiday Craft Fair
What: 29th annual event featuring handmade goods, art work, toys, books and more.
When: Saturday, Nov. 8

Where: Gypsum Creek Middle School
Details: The GCMS PTO will serve breakfast burritos, doughnuts, muffins and coffee in the morning and then transition to chili, nachos, cookies and other treats in the afternoon.
Photos with Santa are planned from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and cost $5.

What: Festive booths will display a wide variety of goods including kitchen items, jewelry, bath and beauty products, home décor, scarves and hats, cards and photos, ornaments, toys, food and more.

Sew a Stocking
What: Continuing a tradition started in 2010, sew a stocking for a local teen in need this holiday season.
When: Saturday, Nov. 15
Time: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: Gypsum Public Library
Details: The stockings will be stuffed with donated items and delivered to the Salvation Army for distribution. Stocking stuffer donations will be accepted at the library throughout the month of November.
CLASSICAL GUITARIST PETER FLETCHER
What: Classical guitarist Peter Fletcher will perform a variety of baroque pieces in a free performance.
When: Tuesday, Nov. 18
Time: 6 p.m.
Where: Eagle Public Library
Details: This free concert is part of a nationwide tour, and Fletcher will perform his own selections from his new Edvard Grieg CD. Other works will include those of Michael Praetorius, Girolamo Frescobaldi, J.S. Bach, and a special version of the traditional Shaker Hymn Simple Gifts. Brush creek Elementary Turkey Trot
What: Thanksgiving Day 5K walk/run

Where: Brush Creek Elementary School
Details: The route runs from the start line at the school and ends at the Dusty Boot. Cost is $20 per person or $50 per family of four with a $10 charge for each additional family members.
